ESG Code of Conduct
  • Feedback Technology has established ESG Supplier Code of Conduct (referred to as “the Code”) to ensure that working conditions in Feedback Technology’s supply chains are safe, and that business is conducted responsibly, ethically, and with respect for human rights and the environment. Feedback Technology requires suppliers to comply with the Code, while also adhering to the laws and regulations of the countries and regions in which they operate. Additionally, Feedback Technology expects suppliers to ensure that their downstream suppliers recognize and adopt the Code, collectively taking on social, environmental, and ethical responsibilities.
  • This Code is based on the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) Code of Conduct, the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, and other internationally recognized human rights standards, including Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work and the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
  • Compliance with the Code will be one of the considerations for Feedback Technology when making purchasing decisions. Feedback Technology aims to promote continuous improvement through close collaboration, communication, auditing, and follow-up evaluations with suppliers. Suppliers that do not comply with the Code, refuse to cooperate with Feedback Technology or third-party auditors, or fail to meet deadlines for corrective action may face termination of their business relationship with Feedback Technology.

Labor Rights

Fair Treatment

o Suppliers must comply with all applicable labor laws and standards, providing fair wages and working conditions.

o Suppliers must not discriminate against any employee or job applicant based on race, gender, age, religion, disability, or other protected characteristics.

 

Working Hours and Compensation

o Suppliers should ensure that working hours comply with legal requirements and pay at least the legal minimum wage.

o Suppliers should provide overtime pay (if applicable) and appropriate rest periods.

 

Child Labor and Forced Labor

o Suppliers must prohibit the use of child labor and forced labor, ensuring that all employees work voluntarily.

 

Health and Safety

Working Environment

o Suppliers must provide a safe and healthy working environment, complying with all applicable health and safety laws and standards.

o Suppliers should conduct regular risk assessments and take necessary preventive measures to avoid accidents and occupational diseases.

 

Health and Safety Training

o Suppliers should provide appropriate health and safety training to employees, ensuring they understand and follow safety procedures.

 

Incident Reporting and Handling

o Suppliers should have incident reporting and handling procedures to ensure that all accidents and safety issues are addressed promptly.

o Suppliers must comply with all applicable environmental laws and regulations, taking measures to minimize negative environmental impacts.

 

Resource Management

o Suppliers should commit to conserving energy and water resources and promote sustainable resource usage.

o Suppliers should implement waste management and recycling programs to reduce waste generation.

 

Environmental Impact Assessment

o Suppliers should regularly assess the environmental impact of their business activities and develop improvement plans.

 

Business Ethics

Anti-Corruption

o Suppliers must adhere to the highest ethical standards, preventing any forms of bribery and corruption.

o Suppliers should have anti-corruption policies and provide relevant training to employees.

 

Conflict Minerals

o Suppliers should avoid using minerals of unknown origin or from conflict regions (such as tantalum, cobalt, tin, and tungsten) and ensure that their raw materials do not support armed conflict or human rights abuses.

o Suppliers should require their sub-tier suppliers to provide proof of mineral sources to and reinforce the importance of transparency in supply chain management.

 

Privacy and Data Protection

o Suppliers must comply with all applicable data protection laws and regulations, safeguarding the personal information of employees, customers, and business partners.

o Suppliers should implement appropriate data security measures to prevent data breaches and unauthorized access.

 

Integrity in Transactions

o Suppliers should ensure integrity in all business transactions, preventing unfair competition and fraudulent activities.

o Suppliers should provide accurate financial and business reports to support auditing and monitoring.

 

Management Elements

o Suppliers should establish internal compliance management systems to ensure adherence to laws and company policies.

Risks Impact The impact of the supply chain may include environmental pollution, occupational safety, and labor rights issues caused by suppliers, as well as the risk of material shortages. For many years, Feedback Technology has established a rigorous and transparent supplier management system to ensure that suppliers comply with environmental protection, social responsibility, and governance principles. Feedback Technology also incorporates the evaluation of suppliers' ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) sustainability management into procurement decisions, motivating suppliers to work together towards environmental friendliness and social responsibility goals, thereby promoting the overall sustainable development of the supply chain.
